Birthday girl

Maggie here,

Pictured above is my step sister Matilda Lou or as we call her Lou Lou. Thursday the 12th is her first birthday and I am planning a surprise party for her. You are all welcome, I just hired a clown to perform, he’ll be dressed up as a squirrel which is fitting.

I would appreciate it if you all would not let the cat out of the bag about her birthday, oops, that just doesn’t sound right coming from a dog.

See ya soon,
Maggie “Surprise” Mae

Acting class Maggie Mae here,
If you are a talent scout or movie producer please give my agent a call.

I am an experienced actress and am currently seeking a movie role. I will work for milk bones and I may be a bit of a prima Donna but I promise not to be too disruptive.

As you can see from my acting class portfolio that I can play any role, comedy or drama, whatever you throw at me.

I am not too proud to work for Disney, even if they decide to do a remake of Goofy.

Give me a call Mr. Spielberg or Mr. Tarantino, no roles too big and no roles too small.

I’ll even do a made for TV movie,
Maggie “Julia Roberts” Mae

Tell me the truth, there’s a rat on my head isn’t there?

innocents copy

Sometimes in life things just happen, like a lucky roll of the dice. I don’t know how I got as lucky as I did to marry this still sweet, but maybe not so innocent woman. I will take an elbow to the gut for this comment but it is proof that they did have cameras back then, even if they did use flash powder.

Yes you got to see a picture of a real human being, but this blog has always been about the things I love the most and this little girl grew up into a great woman and I have been blessed to have known her.

I could never be this mean, :-)

Past Dreams

Summer dreams, slowly fade. Keep hope alive, it will return again some day.

No hanging chads or supreme court battles.

The week #4 winner is one of the most creative minds I have come across and a true animal lover, Dennis’s Diary of Destruction.

And for the Final week of season 2 our panel of judges have determined that there was a three way tie, so the winners of week #5 are as follows:

Stephanie of Stopbouncing

Adrienne

I’m sorry I didn’t have better pictures this year, it’s hard to stay legal and use pictures you can legally use under copyright laws.

Thank you to all that played.

On an unrelated topic I have a need to direct my time and energy in a new direction, so I will be talking a hiatus from blogging for awhile and hope that things work out so that I can find the time in the near future to rejoin all of you.

Bloggers are the most creative and intelligent people that I have ever met. I have made fiends from all points on the globe and I will miss you all.

Love your pets because they love you,

Lonnie

Lessons

10 things I have learned from my dogs.

1: Skin color, hair color, or appearance means nothing. It’s how we treat each other that matters.

2: Words are just words, the truth is in your actions.

3: Yell at me all you want, I’m still going to love you.

4: The best way to learn is to be rewarded for doing what is right and to be corrected when we are in the wrong.

5: Play is important and should not be overlooked.

6: Rich or poor it just doesn’t matter, table scraps are still just table scraps and I don’t need a designer collar.

7: We understand you better than you think we do.

8: Frisbee’s fly farther with the wind at my back.

9: We will go to our grave loving you!

10: Squirrels are just plain evil.

Big Head

Keep talking smack you brainless black mutt. The only reason I have a big head is because I have twice the brain that you do.

You might as well play the Photo Caption Contest because you ain’t catching me,

Mr. Squirrel – (life time MENSA member)

It’s time to set the record straight. I have not been institutionalized in a mental health facility because of those little sorry tree rats or you may of heard that I was incarcerated for squirrel killings, not true.

I think that little rodent was getting a little bit big headed from all of the attention he has received. So I have been saving my squirrel stories and using this time and energy for fun things like the Photo Caption Contest, so help me bring that big headed rodent back down to size and have some fun playing the Photo Caption Contest.

No electronic bracelets or orange jump suites here,

My Puppy

BB,
Is it true that when we wake up and our feet hit the floor that the only thing in life that we really get to choose is our outlook and attitude?

I choose to be happy and smile. I wish the same for you,
